My 1:1 moment from Amsterdam captured an interaction between four people each from a different generation. An elderly lady was watering her plant box from inside her house while chatting to a lady with a baby in a push chair and a young girl. The young girl had run over to look at the elderly lady's tomato plants. The elderly lady had several plant pots growing different fruit, vegetables and herbs.
It was interesting to see how the young girls' simple fascination with the plant garden had sparked an interaction between them all. It was also an example of urban farming on a small scale within a built up city.
