The site in Hulme is bordered by Leaf Street, Stretford Road, Princess Parkway and Clarendon Street.
The sun path needed to be considered due to the nature of my program. The position of the building would need to be at the north end of the site as to not cast shadows over the allotments and greenhouses.
It is bordered on two sides by residential housing. It is currently a park overgrown with vegetation.
There is a slight increase in topography at the north end of the site.
